At beginning of May, I spent a few days at Hippocrates Health Institute for the third International Living Foods Summit. The purpose of the meetings is for teachers of raw foods to get together and hash out their differences in the hope of forming a unified message about what actually works with raw/ living food diets.

So far the meetings have been attended by teachers from 8 different countries with a combined experience of over 600 years following a raw vegan diet. In the first year we made a statement about what everyone agrees on: eg; vegan, chlorophyll rich and mineral dense foods, supplementing B12, etc etc, and in the last two years we tweaked it and added a couple of items.

People involved have included respected illuminaries such as Fred Bisci, Gabriel Cousens, Brian and Anna Maria Clement, Brenda Cobb, Viktoras Kulvinskas and many more. My role in this group has emerged to be the compiler and editor of a collaborative book based on the decided upon principles, called Raw Food Works. You may have seen a picture of the cover on the Rawsuperfoods homepage during the last 6 months, and I can finally say that it is due for release in Europe on June 18th. Needless to say I am really excited about it!

Brian Clement
Coming up on July 9th we welcome back Brian Clement the Director of Hippcrates Health Institute to give his 5th lecture with us in Amsterdam. Anyone who attended his event last year, knows what a dynamic, passionate, and informative speaker he is. If you are interested in deepening your health knowledge with information which is right at the cutting edge then this is The ‘GO TO’ EVENT happening in Holland this year. It is also a very good opportunity to bring a skeptical friend or family member.
